Focus on what you have. (not on what you don’t have.)
Abundance is a mentality. The moment you believe there is not enough – you make it so inadvertently. Decide there is abundance – more than enough and you also will make it so inadvertently. (Try to think – abundance of what?)
Focus on what you do want. Recognize what you do have – use it to effect change.
The mind is like a fan of focus, creativity, awareness and consciousness. At times of stress, worry and fear, the fan narrows when it needs to be the most open. Push the fan open by focusing on what is going right, what you can do, what could be done, what you do have and on possibility thinking. Then, explore and implement the new solutions that are inspired by it. The more the fan opens, the more possibilities will become obvious and interesting and worthwhile.
This doesn’t mean that either hope or hopelessness will help. It doesn’t mean pretending nor projecting. The relaxed confident focus of creativity, awareness and consciousness accepts reality as it is in totality and works with it from there. Start where you are, use what you have and do the very best you can – but I would add to that – reach out beyond yourself for the resources and possibilities that are available and this includes opportunities. For the same amount of effort it takes to steal, it could be used to build a new business opportunity and be much more fun with new friends and new experiences.
Accept things as they are – all of it for exactly what it is – not what it means, not what is interpreted from it – but do make sure 2+2=4 and not something else. To deal with dismal realities, financial and otherwise, it is absolutely necessary to accept what they actually are in order to do anything about it. So long as you pretend it is going to be okay – it probably won’t have a chance for your input in it to make it better while you still can.
Grieve the loss of life as it was, let the feeling wash over you and through you, feel it, experience it and let it go. The race away from feeling it causes the most harm.
Remember, above and beyond all of what is happening right now – today is the day of your life, not tomorrow. Everything from yesterday is worthwhile and will help do what you create to do today. |
